Summer Farm Engagement

Claire and Chris met in university, and after several years of dating, they finally got engaged! Woohoo! It was a pleasure to get to know this super sweet couple over the last year. While we were planning their engagement session, Claire mentioned that they liked to do outdoorsy things in their free time. So, we set a date and arranged for a farm engagement session. It was the perfect location with a big open field to capture portraits during golden hour!

When the day finally came, we made our way to Georgetown on a warm summer evening. With a soft blanket in hand and enough mosquito repellent to cover an army, we wandered into the fields of long grass as the sun continued to set. We love that warm, glowing light just before the sun sinks behind the horizon! It was like Claire and Chris were the only ones there in the great expanse of land and sky… If you can only forget the fact that we were 3rd wheeling on their romantic getaway, along with two other couples and their photographers as well! It was a busy night at the farm! The things photographs don’t tell you, right??

Claire and Chris’ intimate wedding celebration takes place THIS WEEKEND at one of our favourite local wedding venues, Harding Waterfront Estate. It’s so nice when the location is right in our good ol’ hometown of Mississauga! If you’ve been following our past blog posts, you might recall that we also shot this other Harding Waterfront Estate wedding last year, and it was absolutely beautiful! Suffice it to say, we’re pretty excited to be going back there in a couple of days!
